The Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA) has contracted Golden Planners Inc. (GPI) to act as the professional conference organizers for Issues of Substance – CCSA’s National Conference.

In order to successfully hold the Issues of Substance Conference, CCSA and GPI collect contact information about registrants through conference registration forms. 

The achievement of the Conference’s objectives involves, among other things, communicating with and determining the needs of registrants, processing payment related to attendance at events or to event-related services and products, and arranging and confirming hotel reservations. 

Contact information may include a registrant’s name, title, department, organization, address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address as provided on the conference registration form.  A registrant’s contact information shall be used by CCSA and GPI for purposes of communicating with the registrant only and shall not be provided to anyone else. 

CCSA and GPI will retain personal information provided to them only for so long as it is required for the purposes stated above.  Information about a former registrant is not actively maintained.
